In the next life, tian says, he'll play his nishang for you. He's sorry that he's not able to protect tian, but he can do nothing about it now. He wants to kill tian and take revenge on his son. Worried that tian will die with him in the afterlife, he says, "booke whoosh / whoosh whoOSH whoosh fall / heaven - defying the mirror can keep / humph . . they'll die within a few days" . The elders from seven sects keep searching for tian's and hailong's whereabouts, but they can't find either of them. They're worried that they've been killed by the three fiends, but tian reassures them, saying, "I'm from the right path" , and that if tian is killed, the elders of the valley will find him and avenge his death. The sect masters are worried that the city of Zhao Song will be the next target of the fiends.
