This chapter opens with a soliloquy by the Illustrious Buddha. He tells the audience that he and the Nine-Divine Quin will be enemies in the future because they owe each other nothing. He says that he is already in the realm of golden core, and that if he were to die, he would also die. He adds that if the Nine Divine Quin is destroyed, he will also die, but he doesn't regret his decision to fuse with the Nine. The Buddha says that if s/he were to lose to tian quin, things would not be finished between them. He asks the audience to forgive him for his sins, and then he says that today is the last day of the mountain competition arena. .
