About This Chapter
In the middle of the battle, Master Piao-Miao and Master zhi-Shui come to the rescue of their brother, Master Xuan, who has been wounded in the battle. Master Pung-Hsien, a disciple of the two masters, asks Master Miao if he should apologize for his rudeness to his brother. He says that he did not mean it, and that it is not advisable for him to fight outside the brahma-heart sect, where he is a member. He also apologizes to the two women for injuring his brother, saying that it was all his fault that he didn't realize the severity of his actions. He asks the two ladies to follow him up the mountain, and they will talk later. Master pung-hsien says that Van Hailong has a rare buddha-ji, which means that he has attained the realm of the buddha. He tells Master piao-miao that he does not want to become a monk, because he still wants to find a partner for the future. He has encountered two demons, one of whom dared to use a thousand evil-sun banner to harm the heaven. He wants to know what is going on, and he asks the masters not to reveal their cultivation, so that they will not cause unnecessary trouble. The three flowers on the top of the mountain are a unique practice of the buddhist.
