About This Chapter
The scene opens with a conversation between Hailong and his younger sister. Hailong complains that he has not eaten for two days and is starving. He asks his sister to make another meal for him. She does so, and Hailong apologizes for his treatment of his sister. He tells her that he wants to apologize for the past few days, but she is too angry to do so. She tells him that she will give him some "true qi" to help him wake up. She also tells him not to worry about Hailong's injury, as she has "stabilized his injury" . They return to the house with a full plate of vegetarian food, and the relationship between the two brothers is finally reconciled. The scene ends with a soliloquy by Hailong in which he tells his sister that he is the only one who can depend on her from now on. He says that he gave away his "heaven defying mirror" so that he could cultivate for a hundred years. He also says that his sister is the "master of yunlian sect" , and he only has respect for her.
