The Governess tells the Governess that the rioters will think that she is the one who killed Cui Minghe. She tells her that she was mistaken and that she will not be able to save her husband. She also tells her about the visit from the Celestial Master and his sister. She says that the only problem with the sudden visit was the sudden mention of the traitorous party. She adds that the chaos outside has been handled. She then tells her to change her clothes before she goes to the Government office. She asks if the imperial envoy is there. He is not, she says, because he is busy with his guests. He asks her to wait until she sees him. She replies that she did not want to kill her husband because she feared that something terrible would happen to her. She explains that her husband's two guards were highly skilled at martial arts, and she was worried that her excellency would get hurt. She was afraid that she would not know about the coins in the Emperor's treasury, and so she came to see him.
