About This Chapter
In this chapter, the young girl tells her father that if he accepts her father's offer of marriage, her clan will finally be allowed to live together. She tells him that she has come to ask him to kill someone the next day. She asks him to tell her father about her love for him, and to tell him that he must cancel everything in order to save her life. He tells her that he has not been honest with her, and that she is not his daughter, but his granddaughter. He asks her if she knows about love, and she says that she knew what it felt like when she felt it. She says that her queen wants him to call it off, but he says that he is not her queen, but her daughter. He says that the sirens killed frowin because they used him to weaken their clan, and he blames himself for the deaths. He warns his daughter that if she finds out who killed the man, she could prove that they are innocent, and then they can free her from her captivity in the lair of the sirens
