About This Chapter
In this chapter, the monster tells the story of how he came to be. When he was a child, he used to go to the seashore with his father, but his father was kidnapped by the mob and taken to Hamingia, where he was tortured and killed. The monster tells his story to his daughter, who tells him that her father has returned to the village and that they have to warn everyone. He tells her that the mob has taken her father, and that he has to warn everybody. He also tells his daughter that she has to tell everyone that they are being attacked. The girl tells her father that they took him with them, and they attacked them, too. She tells her mother that they only attacked her father because he is her father's son. She asks her mother if she is alright, and she says that she is. She says that they attacked her and her father only because they wanted to take her father. She also says that her son has reverted to his old ways, and the mob only went after him because he was their father. He says that he is not a jarl, and he does not need to ask his son for help. He asks if there is something moving in the net, who is this woman, why is she there, and what is going on. He wants to get her out of the net and kill her before she kills herself. He warns the mob that if they want a noble death, they should tell him where to find his kind. He will kill her with his own two hands if she tells the truth.
