In the shop, Linglong tries to find out what's going on with her sister. She's got a bunch of new jewelry, but she doesn't seem to have much to show for it. She says she's afraid that her father won't be able to come to her birthday party because he's too busy with his business. Linglong says that she gave all of her money to her father, and that's why she has so much jewelry. She tells Linglong that her sister is so vicious that she can't stand to be in the street with her. She also says that the older sister is prettier and more beautiful than the younger one. She adds that the younger sister is the most talented and beautiful girl in the shop. She asks Linglong if she can marry her, and she says she wouldn't if she married a chicken, a dog, or a man.
