In this short scene, we learn that Milady has begun to suspect that Mr. Nozaki is in love with her. Milady wonders aloud why she has changed her mind, and Milady tells us that she has no reason to change her mind. She then asks Milady if she knows what she is doing, and she says that she does not. She tells Milady that she is trying to destroy Milady's family, and that she should stop it, since she is destroying someone else's. She also tells her that she did not know Milady was ama band, and wonders if Milady knows what her husband looks like. She says that her business is what makes her want to do what she wants to do. She wants to stop Milady from destroying her family, even if she has nothing, and says that it would be better if she had nothing at all. She adds that she would do anything to stop her husband from destroying his family. She asks her husband to stop, and he says that he is tired of the whole thing, and wants to go back to his old life. He asks her to take a break, but she says she is still reeling from his words. She wonders if he is her boss, and asks if he has yet told his family about the affair. She worries that he might be in trouble, too, if the affair continues.
