The Governess wakes up the next morning to find herself in the middle of a conversation with the Governess's maid. The maid tells her that she's just woken up from a nightmare and that she can't figure out what's wrong with her. She's not sure what to make of the whole thing, but she does know that it's time for her to get back to work. She asks the maid to tell her what happened, and the maid says that she saw a man scream, and that it was probably shinozaki. She doesn't want to face the man right now, so she leaves the room. When she comes back, she finds that the man's clothes have been changed, and he's wearing a new shirt and pants. She wonders why the man has changed his clothes so much, and wonders if he'll ever change his clothes again. He says that he'd like to see her again, and she says that if he does, she'll be happy to see him again. She tells the maid that she has to go back to her job, but that if she does, it will be as a governess.
