The next morning, the Governess tries to find out what's going on. She's worried about her colleague, who's been having an affair with a woman named Amiya. The Governess tells Amiya that she's being sued for having sex with her, but Amiya insists that she doesn't have anything to do with the affair. Meanwhile, Amiya's maid, Umuzu, rushes in to try to calm her down. Umuzu tells her that they've come to see her, and she screams at her to shut up. The sound of someone hitting the door interrupts the conversation, and Amiya runs out of the room.
