This chapter opens with a conversation between a young man and his boss. The young man tells his boss that his first priority is making a product that is not "about good" . He tells the boss that he is older than him, and that he has been working for the company for the same amount of time as the young man. The boss tells him that they were both hired at the same time, but that age does not matter to him because he is younger than the man he is working for. He says that he just got confirmation that the product works, and thanks the boss for not calling him "ms" anymore. He also says that the company does not get overtime pay, so he does not feel like he has to keep him company or anything. He asks the boss what he thinks of the new design, and he says that it is much better than the old one because it is comfortable, easy to wear, and easy to put on. He wonders if he should put on the new one, but the boss says that if people saw the company, that would not be a bad idea, since it would be seen as a brand new thing. He adds that he thinks they should stop using the old design, because it "iritating" and "weirdly tight" , and says he is nervous about putting on this new one because he has never seen a co-worker naked before.
