When the elevator finally reaches the top of the 12th story, the Governess is shocked to find herself alone with her boss. The Governess tells him that she has just had a "dream" in which she had sex with her husband. She tells him to "forget about it" and to "swallow not frown about it." He tells her to "sneak away" the documents she has prepared for the client and to get them "checked right now." He then asks if she is talking about "sex." She says that they are not, and that she would "die if anyone else found out" about it. She then asks him to hurry up and find out what is wrong with the documents. He says that he is going on a "business trip row" and that there is something he wants the head of the department to check. He asks if he is avoiding him, and she says that she is not. He then tells her that he has been "bad at hiding things," and that every thing has been written on his face. She asks why he doesn't stop acting like he is just being "too self" and not acting like a "con scious" person. She also asks if the Elevator has been stopped, and he says that it was just a "mal function." She asks him how he is so calm when he looks at her, and when she looks at him, she says, "I calm excuse me." She then says that the Elevator will be back soon, and asks him whether he is "claustrophobic or something." He says he is okay with being in a confined room, but that he worries more than that, even when it is with him
