The next morning, Chika asks to be allowed to sleep. He wants to know what aizawa has promised him. Chika tells him that he and the other members of his clan have been in trouble with a second in command of a nearby clan. He asks Chika if he can come with them to talk to the clan head, and Chika says that he'll do so if he's the heir to the Tenma clan and is friendly with the leader of the Nahaoka clan. If Chika comes with them, he says, they'll be able to keep the peace. He tells them that he wants to be a part of the world, and that it's strange to be part of a world that doesn't really exist. But Chika is nervous, so he tells them to go ahead and bring the car. He's worried that they're going to drag him into their "crap" , but Chika reminds them that Chika will live an honest life, and they should forgive him for being so naive. He also tells them not to worry about the second command, because they've been relying on him as their heir, and the boss of that clan didn't approve of that. He says that if he went to a gpoloize , he'd be taken to a hotel, raped, and killed, and he would have no choice but to do what he had to do.
