The chapter opens with a flashback to the childhood of Miku and her father. Miku tells her father that she is going to visit him in Egypt, and Miku is nervous because she hasn't seen her father in a long time. She asks her father if he thinks she's a good wife, and he says that she looks good and that he's been joking about her being a "good wife." Miku's dad is shocked to see her, and she tells him that she recently married a man who looked like his dad. She then gives him a map of Egypt and a charm that she thinks will ward off evil. He asks her how long she'll be in Japan before she goes back to Egypt.
