The other students call him "sister wan," and he says that there is a tradition of pranking the junior brothers of the student council with his name. They order spicy crayfish, pig'strotter, candied sweet potatoes, and small yellow croakers. The narrator says that zou can join them, as he is already 18 years old. He also says that little zou will join them when he turns 18. The two men order a bottle of "wanglaoji," a Chinese herbal drink, and the others do not drink it.
