The narrator is in high school. He shows the reader some of his boss's social media posts. He tells us that his boss is cool and that he's going to show off his new friend, Fang, who is boss' best friend. Fang is wearing thick gloves and coat because she's afraid of the dog. The narrator wonders why Fang's clothes are soaked and wonders if he should go over to her and tell her what to do. He decides to look out for Fang since he already knows her. He wonders if it's okay to help Fang clean up her clothes without her permission. He suddenly realizes that if he leaves her clothes lying around the place where the cleaning lady is going to pick them up, she'll have to take them away, so he goes ahead and helps her to do it without her knowledge. He's not sure why Fang doesn't seem to notice the note on the note, but he thinks maybe she just didn't get it. He asks if she has many friends, and she says no. He remembers the day when he picked up zouzou's milk and wrote a note on it before he left it at the "lost and found corner" . It was super cute to him, he says, and it was so weird that he couldn't figure out why he was laughing so much.
