The young man replies that he has written many articles praising Lee and that he did not bat an eye to Lee's rejection. He also says that Lee was very sharp in his words today. He says that he was nervous that his body aches and pains would get worse if he were to go straight to the car park. He asks if Lee remembers what happened at the club, and Lee replies, "could it be" . He then asks if they have met by chance, and the two men agree that it might be, but they are not sure if it is "fate" or "chance." The young reporter says that if he is good at his job, he will help people who are "good at their job" , but he can only hate Lee.
