Back at work, Mr. Yeow wonders why he wants to be a reporter. He wants to earn some money while he's working on his writing career. He tells himself that it's not easy to find a job after three years of being unemployed, so he should keep his secret. He's going to have to pay a fine to settle the case, but he doesn't want to face the attackers in person. He just wants to pay the fine and get it off his chest. He says he'll just pay for it if the attackers can't recognize him. He also says that if his wife finds out, she'll be miserable for him. But, he says, if she finds out about the whole thing, it won't be as bad as if she found out about it. So he decides to give it another shot.
