The next morning, Ren tells Mr. Lin that something terrible has happened to him. He's shocked to learn that he didn't call the doctor, and that he tried to find him but someone crashed into his car when he was on his way to fetch him. Ren says that he's going to ask some of his contacts for help, and then he'll head back to the city to find out what's happened.
