This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between President Xie and a member of his staff. The president tells his staff that he's going to give them a special perfume that can cover up their pheromones and calm them down. He also tells them to bring the bag with them so that he can show them something fun to do with it. When they leave, the president says that his perfume is starting to fade. He's not sure if it's because of the smell or because of his high-class status, but he can't help but feel bad.
