The next morning, Nemo wakes up to find that his nose is sticking out of the bookcase. Nemo is relieved to see his old friend, but he's even more relieved when he realizes that his bed is so uncomfortable that he can't sleep. Nemo tells his friend that he'll have to get dressed and go after Zaka. Nemo says that he doesn't want to be in town anymore, so he wants to find a way to make himself feel better. He's got a treasure map with him, and he knows where to find it. He tells Nemo that treasure hunting is still fun, even without a map, because it's just a lazy excuse for people to go away when their mom isn't around. Nemo points out that his dad's treasure map is the coolest thing he still has from him. He says that they could both have died if they hadn't had the map, but that's because they're both too stupid to do anything about it.
