About This Chapter
The cat wakes up to find that the spell has been broken, and that flight has driven it out. The cat blames himself for letting the man use him, but he also blames his master for bringing him to this world. He tells the cat that he has to carry on, because the other cards his master made are also in this world, too, but they might not be able to answer to flight like flight did. He asks the cat to take him with him, and the cat tells him that he is the only one who welcomes to clockland. He says that the world was created by the memories of a girl named momo who named her book alice, and by the memory of the man who created the book. He also says that if only he could have seen the cat play a "spoiled brat" or a "silly role," he would have done his very best.
