In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, who is introduced as the vampire's "sweetheart" . He is named Fang, and we learn that he is a member of the vampire club, the Yesheng Club. He has come to the club because he wants to be a part of the club's social life again, and he feels a strange attraction towards his boss, Madame Bovary. He tells us that he has come because he is tired of his job and wants to do something for his momo. He wants to play a game of pool with his buddy, Brother Lu, and win the game. He also wants to make a bet with his boss. The bet is for the sum of one million dollars, and the bet is to be won by the first person to win.
