The narrator tells us that a thousand years ago, a great war was fought between heaven and devils. Nine of the ten great guardians of the heavens sacrificed their lives to destroy the demon king. The demon king created the yuetian sect and protected mankind. The great sects of the human race were born, and they joined forces against the devils, repelling the majority down the abyss. The narrator wakes up in the moon palace, where he finds out that all the demons have been killed and all the apprentices have been trained in their cultivation. He wants to go back to the palace and bring back the old man. The old man is shocked to see the young man wearing the same outfit as the old one. He is also shocked to find out that the man belongs to a sect that is known for its cultivation. The elder man tells the narrator that the devildom has been gradually collaping with the seal of heaven, and that only the power of heaven can subdue it.
