In this chapter, Mi-Ling tries to apologize to her sister for the way she treated her the day before. She tells her that her clothes are dirty and she needs to change them. Mi says that if she had looked away from her, she would have seen her clothes were falling. She apologizes again and says that she hasn't tied her clothes back because she's not sure what's going on with mia-o. She asks why sheng isn't there yet and he says that he's half an hour late for his lunch and that he doesn't want to be late for lunch because he wants to talk to Mi.
