In this chapter, we get a brief recap of what's going down between the princess and the monster. The princess is trying to get the monster to leave her alone, but the monster won't let her. She's worried about what the monster will think of her, and she's also worried about the monster's reaction to her leaving. The monster is worried that the princess is going to be captured by the monster, and that she'll be tortured to the point of insanity
