In this chapter, sheng tells his sister about his injuries and asks her to look at them. He tells her that his injuries are getting worse and that he can't bear to be insolent anymore. He asks her if she remembers everything that happened to him when he was a child. She tells him that she is the only one who remembers everything. Worried that his aura is getting heavier, he tells her to go to the forest and use the incense to mask his aura. He also tells his brother how to use the chant. He says that he taught him the chant before, but that he doesn't understand how to repeat it. He wants to stop acting so stupid and says that if he continues, he'll be killed by the glare of the forest. He decides to teach sheng the chant again later.
