In this chapter, we learn that Bi-Wen has gone back to the mountains with wang-tianhou, and that the sprite who chased him told him that he can return to the mountain as long as he no longer exists. This is the same sprite that chased the young man in the previous chapter, and it's the same one who chased the sprite in the last chapter. The two men decide to go after the sprite and get him back.
