In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of characters who have been introduced in previous stories. The first of these characters is the young woman who is the focus of the story. She is the heroine of the novel, and she is the object of the love interest of the young man. The young man tells her that he has been in love with her for five years, and that she is his true love. The girl, however, has not reciprocated his love, and he has not been able to find a way to express his feelings to her.
