The teacher tells the parents that their son's nerves have been damaged, and that he is still alive. The parents are horrified. They are sure that the murderer will be found and punished. The baby is overjoyed to hear that his father will find the murderer. The mother promises that she will marry the baby obediently. The teacher then introduces the new student, Fang. Fang is excited to be a part of the new class. He tells the teacher that his girlfriend is chasing him all the way to class 7. Fang says that he has to think of ways to deal with the other student, who is named fei ding. Fang tells the other students that he would like to sit in front of feiding, so that he can be protected. The other students welcome Fang to their class. Fang then tells the teachers that he saw his face on the surveillance near the factory, and he is shocked to see that his student is now a retard. Fang blames fei for causing his son to become retarded. He says that fei was responsible for beating up his son, but only superficially. Fang calls fei a "rattling rascal" and vows to take him to the police. He also tells the students that if they want to find out who the murderer is, they should go make a report. Fang wants to know why he feels this way when he is invited to dinner at his house by his mother and two beautiful girls. He is also invited home by his father.
