This chapter opens with a discussion between Dr. Kong and Mr. Mingzhe, who have not seen each other for a long time. Dr. Ming says that he has heard that the two men are having a lot of quarrels. He wants to know why they don't just give him the corpse of a dead man. He also asks why they haven't treated his wounds. He says that it will cost him a lot, and that he'll have to go to the zheng group to get the treatment. He's leaving, he says, because he already knows their secrets. He doesn't want to get into a fight with them. He tells them not to try to threaten him. He has something to tell them, and he wants them to get out of the way. He demands that they tell him where zheng is, and even if he is still alive, he's in danger. He asks if they're for real, and if they are, where is he? He'll go find a search party and tell them where he is.
