The narrator is afraid that only "ignorant girls" like lily and isabella will believe what he says. He tells the gang that they need to leave as soon as possible, because there is a "terrifying demonic beast" in the underground palace. He explains that the beast can attract "endless thunder and fire" and can "destroy the world." He tells them that if the beast does harm them, they would have to stay in the palace forever. He suggests that they hold the beast back so that they can escape. He also tells them to pass on his orders to all of the supreme disciples.
