In this chapter, Edmund and Aaron swear to be brothers. Edmund tells us that Aaron has been using him as a "cat's paw" in order to get what he wants. Edmund is relieved to see his powers rise up, and he wants to come back to Heaven. He says that he has been away from Heaven for too long, and his mother always urges him to come home. He also says that Baron has finally "met his match" in the fight, and that it is good that he is finally able to do so. Edmund says that Isabella windsor is the sixth apprentice to the supreme elder, and she has reached a level 6 in the martial arts. She is only 16 years old, but she is already a great martial artist. Edmund thinks that Isabella should not care about him, because she is a "martial arts talent" of the house. He thinks that she is just smiling at him because she knows him. Edmund declares that he will do all he can to stop him from being the "supreme elder's" apprentice
