Back at the school, the boys discuss whether or not Chrissie is serious about winning a game of baseball. The boys agree that she is, but they disagree on whether she is serious or not. They both agree that it is better for the school to win than to lose. They also agree that they should respect their loyalty to Manny even though he "sucks" . They decide to have dinner together and talk about why they keep staring at each other. They discuss the fact that they are both allowed to date, but that they can never be in a relationship where one person is in control and the other is threatened. They agree that the best way to make a date seem casual is to simply smile back at the other person and then smile back and forth until they are caught. This way, if they get caught, they simply smile and look back and then look again later. This is the same way you get caught in a baseball game and get thrown around by the umpires. They all agree that you should avoid kissing someone.
