Back at the apartment, Lockwood tells his mom that he's got a new proof of insurance, but he hasn't yet put it in his car yet. He's not sure if it's the new car or the old one, but it looks like he still owes Lockwood a bunch of money. Lockwood asks his mom why she doesn't have a copy of her dorm assignment form with her, and she tells him that it was supposed to be mailed to her when she applied for on-campus housing. Lockwood tells her that he and Lockwood are both in the same dorm, and that he can't make any changes to his room without a copy. He tells Lockwood to stop fighting with the other students in the line, and he tells him to get off his "fat ass" and go to a party when he gets moved in. Lockwood says he'll do some "welcome to the dorms" stuff, and Lockwood says that's what the coach told him to do. He asks Lockwood if he'd like to try out for the basketball team, but Lockwood says no, and then asks if Lockwood has wrecked any innocent cars recently. Lockwood replies that he has, and says that he hopes it'll be for Christ's sake.
