The stage 27 riders enter the Izu skyline with the wind at their backs. The wind is so strong that even the leader of the peloton can't keep up with the pace of the wind. The second rider in the group tries to take over the lead, but the wind is too strong for him to do so. The rider in second tries to lead the group, but he's overtaken by the rider in first place. The two of them decide to go for the win.
