Vol.3 Stage 8: Team Power
This is a locked chapterVol.3 Stage 8: Team Power
About This Chapter
This chapter's epigraph is from a song by Asahinas, the owner of a cycle-on-pro racer who lives in Europe. She's seen her brother in Europe for a while, and he lends her his old bike, which he calls "Zero" . She likes to play the role of her father, who's a member of the team, and she's fascinated by his leg strength. As the chapter opens, the cyclones are in the middle of an attack on the pro racers. The cyclones' leader, matsushita, is on his way to catch up to the pro's leader, pit bull, when the other three cyclone members line up behind him. They're going to follow him as he goes, and they'll use the pit bull riders as wind to follow the cyclone's lead. As soon as he catches up to mitsuba, the other cyclone members will follow him, too, and the rest of the group will follow them as they go. This is a great way to tire out an opponent, and it's also a good way to use your numbers to your advantage. The lead peloton is coming down the mountain, and as soon as the lead peloton comes down, the second one comes down too.
