The next morning, Mimaki and Asahina enter stage 5 of the Hyogo Forest Park Road Race. Mimaki is excited to see that he has won the team jersey and that he will be joining Asaina's team for the race. He is also excited about the fact that the first rider to pass through the forest park will be the strongest. He says that he looks forward to the race because it will be clear who the strongest rider is. He also says that the race will be held in 10 minutes and that 2000 amateur racers have come together to participate in the event. He adds that he is sorry that Mimaki does not have a strate cycle this year because he was a part of the team that won the race the last time around. He thinks that this is because Mimaki's partner, Ippongi, is a better climber than Mimaki.
