About This Chapter
The sub tells the director that the beam collapsed, but that no one was hurt. The director asks if the dream was real, and the sub replies that he doesn't know. The sub says that if the king had really wanted to kill him, he would have taken him away from the dungeon and put him to death. He says that the king's "royal highness" would have prevented him from saving the life of a man who risked his own life to save someone else's. The king says that he underestimated the king, and that he and the other assassins were responsible for starting the fire that destroyed the dungeon. The man tells the sub that he wanted to send medicine to Luzhi, but the medicine accidentally caught fire. He tried to take the man out, but he was afraid that he would be killed if he were burned to death, so he kept him in the dungeon, where he is now safe.
