In this chapter, we learn that Mi-Kun has been hiding out in the garden of the imperial palace. He's been looking for Mi, who has been living in the country for three years. Mi says he doesn't know if they'll ever meet again, but he does know that Mi has changed a lot in the three years they've been apart. He says that the jailer told him that Mi's changed so much since their last meeting that it's hard to know what's wrong with him. Mi tells him to get up and take a decoction to help him sleep. He tells Mi to eat whatever he wants as long as he's not sick. Mi gives him some porridge to eat, and Mi says it tastes good. Mi tries to get Mi to admit that the cook is bad, but Mi won't admit it. He wants to know if there's anything in the porridge that's expensive. Mi asks Mi if he can touch him more, and if he doesn, he'll consider it.
