About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the protagonist's father would not have died if it weren't for his son's decision to study at the same university as his father. The protagonist tells the audience that he's sorry that he didn't realize that his father would've died if he hadn't chosen to study law at the university. He's also sorry that his son is a social climber. He says that he will take the protagonist back to the university where the fight took place. The teacher who runs the university's security office tells the protagonist that he should have stayed away from the fight. He asks the protagonist why he came to the school, and the protagonist tells him that he came because he wanted to give a speech. He also tells the teacher that he is in love with the teacher, and that the teacher is just trying to protect him from the other students who were fighting with him. The professor asks if the fight was just for the sake of having a fight, or if it was because the two students knew each other. The man tells the story of how he and the other student fought, and how the teacher joined them in the fight to protect the other man. He then asks the man why he got
