The narrator tells us that he's always thought of Yayo as a brother, but that he never thought of him as a sister. Yayo wakes up in the middle of the night and tells the narrator that she's going to have to go back to the apartment of Mr. Cheng. The narrator is all, "Oh, no, I'm going to be late." Yayo tells him to go ahead and get the shortcut to her apartment, but the narrator doesn't want to go too fast, so he says he'll take a shortcut to the other apartment. The next thing you know, Yayo's back at the apartment, and the narrator is totally bummed out. He wants to go home, but Yayo won't let him, because she has a fever, and she'll have to stay in her room for the rest of the day. She asks the narrator what will happen after she leaves, and he tells her that they're going to kiss and hug, and then they'll sit across from one another doing homework.
