The Underground Man arrives at the Underground Man's house. He's surprised to find that the girl he's been looking for is actually a stowaway. He tells her that she's a terrorist and that she should be locked up for the night. She begs to be let out of the house, but he won't let her out. She tells him that the house is filthy and she needs help. He says that he'll let her go if she'll just leave him alone. She asks him to hold the broken toilet in place so that she can use it right away. He agrees, and she leaves.
