The mayor tells the men that if they cut off both of their hands, he'll let them go. He'll give them 50,000 if one of them is lucky enough to have one of his. The men are confused. They wonder why the man is suddenly so strong. The mayor says it's because the evil aura is inside the man's body. He tells them to get away from him. He says he's going to save the man now. The man says he doesn't care if the child is sick or not. He just wants to get rid of it. They need to find out what's wrong. The evil aura has something to do with the little stone that's attached to the entrance of the house. It's the same evil aura that caused all of the problems in the first place. They can't figure out why the stone is there, but they can figure out that it has an evil effect on people. They'll have to deal with it every day when they enter the house, and people will become irritable, weak, and infested. The Mayor thanks the men for saving the child's life. He asks if they could open a medical school for the children. He wants to make sure that his parents are proud of him.
