In this chapter, we learn that the plot of the previous chapter was to trick the audience into thinking that the main character was one of the actors in a movie. This time, however, the audience is presented with a different scenario. The main character is in the middle of a conversation with another player, and he asks the other player if he would like to be introduced to the audience. The other player replies that he would, and the two men proceed to discuss the details of the plot.
