As long as he publicly declares his love and goes out with a girl, Huck looks like he can't go with the guys any more. He asks why they're always looking for someone to go with them, and then asks if he can wait for the girl he's been hanging out with. He tells Huck that someone asked him to do it, and Huck tells him that he'll do it again. Huck says that he has decided to confess his love to the girl, and that he wants her to be his girl friend. Huck asks if she's willing to confess in private, in public, and in surprising no pressure. He needs someone to like him to begin with.
