In this chapter, we learn that the father of Wei cheng-hong was once a friend of Uncle Hu's, but he moved away to manage his family business. When he returned, he found that the house was in need of renovation, so Uncle Hu allowed the family to stay in the house until the renovations were complete. We learn that this is the first time we've ever met Wei-cheng, and that he snuck into the party to play the piano. He was punished by his father for this, and he's worried that his uncle is one of the "perverts" playing the piano game.
