In this chapter, we learn that the god of the hunt, the Greek god of death, is not as tough as he used to be. In fact, he's even tougher than he thought he would be. He's got a crush on a girl named lisa, who's the daughter of ra, an Egyptian god of sun. She's a master of strategy and combat, but she doesn't want to study for midterms. The other god she worships is the Greek goddess of death herself, the son of god griffin, who can inflict "poetic justice upon others" for "brief moments" . In other words, she can create "cloud formations" as strong as "steel" , just like her father, god of war, was able to do . We also learn that god of high school, the fire-breathing chimera from Greek daddy, is also a god of fire, too. We learn that he'll be throwing a giant slaying party at his school this weekend, and that his dad is leaving town for a couple of days. We're also told that the kid's dad is going to be out of town, so it's time for the kids to chill out and have a good night's sleep. The kids are interrupted by the arrival of the "god of death," who is also known as "the son of the sun" and "the god of hell."
