They decide that they will eat part of the apple and work together, but that dispersing the apple among the three will nullify its effects. The three decide that it is time for them to face their destiny, and they refuse to watch their friends die. The principal tells them that the school has been cut off, and that a few students have tried to become gods, but they have been unable to do so because of the poisoned apple. The trio decides to take the apple to the gods, and the girl thanks her father for his help in freeing the school.
